What Is Proximity Key?

A proximity key (also known as Keyless Go, Push-to-Start, Push Button Start.Keyless Access.Keyless Entry or Intelligent Key) is a device that enables a keyless door access and ignition mechanism in your vehicle.
When user is within the proper frequency range, the smart key transmit RF waves with your immobilization system to open and close car doors and even to ignite the engine while having the key in the pocket.
30 years ago in 1998, Mercedes-Benz was the first to outfit this platform in a vehicle.
Currently, motor vehicle drivers can take advantage of proximity fobs and push start ignition on majority of car models and use operations as remote start, auto theft elimination protection, power windows, automatic door unlocking or locking and many more.
